Jaime

I love the way that Jaime teaches! Not only does he come prepared with specific lesson plans based on what you need to work on but he also makes the process of learning so enjoyable. I feel like when I'm taking his classes I'm less concerned about the end goal and I'm more focused on enjoying the process. There's so much to enjoy when you're learning a new language and I really feel that in these classes. Muchas gracias Jaime. Jaime is an exceptional teacher. After my first class, I booked 10 lessons! The classes are always very engaging. If you are an advanced or intermediate student and want to dive deep into intellectual conversations, I highly recommend classes with Jaime. He asks very thoughtful questions that encourage me to express my ideas about different topics and provides useful comments and suggestions in a kind and supportive manner. I just booked another 10 classes!

So far, I have had 3 sessions with Jaime, spanning 4.5-5 hours. I have reviewed and covered many topics from conjugating regular verbs to commonly used irregular verbs in the present tense. we have covered many of my doubts and questions concerning the spanish language. Jaime is patient and able to share knowledge while maintaining positively and I will continue to take lessons with Jaime as he has helped me re-learn a lot of the spanish language in a short period of time. Jaime is very flexible and creative in his teaching approach. He knows when to dive into topics at the right time.

If you love language, words, and literature I promise that you'll adore his classes. He's also super cool to talk with if chatting is your thing!

I have been working regularly with Jaime for over a year, and he has helped me greatly improve both my conversational fluency and my comfort speaking spontaneously across a wide range of topics, including family, literature, socioeconomics, politics, and culture. He has an exceptionally calming demeanor and is genuinely empathic, with a great sense of humor and impressive worldly knowledge. Over time, he has become a great friend and mentor. I recommend him highly to anyone looking for these qualities in a teacher.

He is friendly, kind and open. Jaime invites you to speak and make mistakes while gently guiding the conversation and correcting where necessary. The lessons are in conversation and reading but structured in such a way that it feels like a natural conversation. I like this type of teaching a lot! Highly recommend.
