Great teacher! We have lessons almost a year already- going through HSK program. I feel a huge progress even considering my inconsistency in learning. Katherine makes tremendous work on my pronunciation and grammar, provides all needed materials and a lot of tips how to improve my Chinese. I have been with Katherine 老师 for over a year now and I am happy to continue taking classes with her! She’s not only a patient teacher, but also a very kind person, we get along really well and never run out of topics to talk about. What makes her special and what I really appreciate about her is her openness to cooperate, and ability to customize her teaching style to the students‘ abilities. For instance, I had recently made big improvements outside of class in my speaking abilities with my language tandems and when I told her about it, she quickly adapted and now we can talk about more challenging topics to aid my speaking abilities and depth of expression. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to reach confidence in speaking, let alone talking to native speakers, if it wasn’t for Katherine‘s unwavering patience and constant feedback during class during the past year.
