Hello! I am a 32-year-old South African with a love for travel, adventure, and meeting new people. In South Africa, we have 11 official languages (yes,11!), this means I have had a lot of practice with second-language English speakers, and many different accents, so your accent won't scare me!
I believe good, casual conversation is the best way to master a language, and the more comfortable you feel with someone, the easier it will be to learn. So, pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea, give me a call, and let's get started!

As a teacher, I try to adapt every lesson to suit the student and their learning style and personality. I have a gift for putting people at ease quickly, and I offer gentle corrections at the level of the student.
I have 3 years of training experience at a local NPO in South Africa, during which I trained over 140 rural Zulu crafters (many with little to no English speaking ability).
I have recently completed an accredited 180-hour TEFL Course through i-to-i which I am excited to put to use. My lessons & teaching style
If you are looking for a relaxed, comfortable, and positive environment, along with a few laughs as we talk and learn together, then this is the place for you. I believe that the more comfortable you feel, the better you will learn, so I try to make every student feel as comfortable as possible. I do not learn well in pressured, busy environments, so I do not expect that from my students. I will adjust my speed to meet your needs. I keep classes feeling casual, but I am always prepared, organized, and punctual.5.0
