Living in Niiza, Japan

I've been teaching Japanese for 6 years. My first trip abroad changed how I see the world. Later, I studied in the UK for six months without much preparation and ran into walls of language and culture. It wasn't all fun, and that bitter experience is the foundation of my lessons. I have taught Japanese for six years and love supporting people who dream of traveling to or working in Japan. My lessons focus on real conversation: not just correct grammar, but choosing the right words with an understanding of Japanese culture, so you can build good relationships. I previously worked as an English and math tutor and a cram school teacher, and volunteered at an elementary school and an after-school program. My students are aged 9 to 70. Hearing "I passed the exam!" or seeing students keep going despite busy schedules makes me glad to be a teacher. I mainly use Minna no Nihongo, but I adapt to each student, including handmade materials. My motto: a fun, fulfilling place to learn, built on trust. I'd love to be part of your "story across Japan." Join a lesson anytime! それから・・・ I have one request for prospective students: please share as much as you can about the culture of your country. I firmly believe this is essential, both for building mutual trust and for delivering effective lessons.
