My name is Sergio and I have been teaching Spanish since 2021 ( online modality). I have always loved to help people with their difficulties during the learning process. Besides teaching Spanish I love to share my culture with other people since I consider that learning the culture that surrounds a language is a very interesting way to understand it much better. I study from home, so I have a lot of flexibility regarding lessons schedule.Me as a Teacher
One of the aspects most importants that I try my students to make aware of is the fact that we can't translate literally other languages to Spanish since each language has its own grammar system. And if we force this translation, it's possible that a Spanish speaker understands you but It is not going to sound natural at all.
I also try to adapt my lessons to the student's personality and hobbies since It's essential to keep motivated during this process.My lessons & teaching style
My lesson approach is flexible since I think not everybody learns the same way. Avoiding saturating the student is essential that is way I always try to transmit knowledge in a dosed way and of course adapted to the students' needs. I teach grammar mainly through conversation because It is a more natural way to learn it. Besides, learning grammar within a situational context is much easier to retain in our minds.
However, I also can provide you with different materials to keep progressing on your own during your free time. We can practice role-playing to help you feel more confident when speaking in a public context or discuss a current issue,a movie/film,a book,a specific topic etc...My teaching material

He is a flexible teacher who is willing and capable of doing anything from free conversations to explaining complex grammatical issues in clear and organized way. I particularly like how he writes down corrections, synonyms or other useful language in the chat, which I can go back to after the class. Really useful.
