Lamprini Levetsiou

My first lesson with Lamprini was two years ago. Thanks to these lessons (first weekly, now every 2 weeks) I've made much more progress with the Greek language than in the years before with other learning methods or classes.

I have been learning Modern Greek with Lamprini for about a month. Her lessons are always stimulating and interesting. In such a short period of time I have progressed very quickly thanks to her classes: she offers high quality material, crystal clear explanations, a personalized learning schedule and a structured teaching method. Lamprini has helped me develop all aspects of Greek: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

She was great! This was my first attempt at speaking Latin, after using apps for the past year to introduce me to the language. I realized I couldn't get a feel for the grammar, Conjugations and Declensions at all that way. So I figured I'd try italki. Lamprini is amazing. This was our trial session, and we jumped right into nouns and conjugation. I'm already feeling like I can understand Latin a whole lot more now just from one simple lesson. She gave me some homework to do - which I appreciate. I'm never be able to read and speak it is it's not being reinforced. Her passion for languages shows through her entire lesson, and she genuinely seems like she wants to see me succeed. I've already booked 10 hour-long lessons with her, and can't wait to get to them! I have had several lessons with Lambrini. Before I started, I was fluent but not at C2 level. Now, after merely a handful of lessons, I am not only past C2, but I can very comfortably have deep conversations about a vast range of topics from political to environmental to pop culture and even ecclesiastical. This is all due to Lamprini’s organized, motivating, and encouraging teaching style. She is always on time, and she has very effective materials that are customized to whatever level you are at. I very highly recommend Lamprini if you are ready to take your Greek to the next level! Lamprini is a great teacher! She clearly explains grammar rules, is very kind and encouraging, and leaves space for conversation practice in the lesson if desired. Excited to keep learning with her!

I've done many lessons with Lamprini, and she's been amazing for keeping me on track with my Ancient Greek classes! Honestly I couldn't ask for a better teacher :) She's really lively, motivating and positive; she helps me with my pronunciation and grammar as well as my translation exercises. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with Ancient Greek.
