About Me

My love and passion for creatively teaching, training, and mentoring people and seeing them progress is what drove me to become an ESL teacher. I am eager to utilize my strengths as a public speaker and I am driven by excellence, to guide others in their journey of learning a new language.

Me as a Teacher

I have substantial experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, and training children, teenagers, and adolescents to better themselves in life skills and academically. I have: • Taught children & teenagers 6-18 years old from varying backgrounds in a classroom setting. I have built report with their parents and included them in the learning process • Taught & mentored adults 18-52 years of age both personally and academically • Experience with cultural differences and cultural sensitivities • I specialize in conversational English and overall improvement of vocabulary and grammar • Coached young people to discover their passions, strengths, and abilities and grow accordingly

My lessons & teaching style

My teaching style is focussed on conversational English, which gives me an indication of the grammar and vocabulary needs of the student, after which I teach very limited grammar (just enough for the student's speaking ability to improve), as I believe that for most students, grammar can be very demotivating. I also give my students proper written feedback after each lesson.
