CELTA Teacher with many years of experience in international relations and teaching Hi! I'm a friendly and easy-going guy who enjoys the simple things in life, from a nice pub meal with friends, to an evening at the theatre or a night-in watching good TV. I have an amazing relationship with my family (I'm the youngest of six!), and a great circle of friends, with whom I share passions, laughs and good food! I play the piano and sing in a London choir. Languages spoken: English and Italian, plus decent Spanish and French. Favourite music: classical/opera, rock & pop. Favourite time of the year: Christmas! My favourite travel destinations: France, Spain, Ireland... well, the whole of Europe! And Japan, Korea, The Americas... The first thing learners will notice about me is my rapport with the students; I believe it is the most important ingredient in making a lesson successful and the learner feel at ease. During my lessons, I make sure that the student's progress and understanding are my priority. I use visual and audio materials, and I always prompt a discussion to encourage the student to participate and enjoy the topic. I focus a lot on practice, particularly repetition and pronunciation.
