I am Colombian, my native language is Spanish; I have learned English and a little bit of Italian throughout my career. I studied biology, and marine ecology. I love travel, nature and art. I love Spanish language, and I am excited that other people want to learn it.Me as a Teacher
I am a creative and flexible teacher, enthusiastic to share what I know and to help you in your learning process. I am very interested in that you really learn and practice the Spanish language, and that you improve your level. I believe that enjoyable practice is the best way to integrate knowledge, so I will ensure that our lessons are dynamic and productive. My lessons & teaching style
In the lessons we are going to talk about the topics that interest us. We will also pose hypothetical situations, such as being traveling in a Spanish-speaking country, making a formal presentation, or participating in an interview. We will use additional resources such as audios, videos and images, to expand vocabulary and learn about Colombian and Latin American culture. I will propose activities to practice words and expressions that are difficult for you. I will be very attentive to the way you construct the sentences and pronounce the words, to help you improve.My teaching material

Laura is fantastic and I highly recommend her! She is patient, finds different ways of saying something if you are struggling, adapts the content to what you are looking for, checks in along the way, and is just a good person and effective teacher.

Laura is an amazing teacher! She is very patient and willing to help. She corrects your errors and brings your Spanish to a higher level. She also gives you materials and homework, if you want to. That really helps. Es muy divertido de hablar con ella. I would really recommend Laura as a teacher!
