Hi! I’m Tom, a certified English teacher specializing in teaching speaking, verb tenses, and fluency.
In my classes, you will have a space to practise speaking English without fear or embarrassment. We will talk about various topics and your confidence will increase. You won't be afraid of making mistakes, and you will enjoy it!
With 19 years of experience, I’ve taught professionals, teenagers, and children—both online and in classrooms.
Fun fact: I’m learning Spanish in Panama, so I totally understand the challenges of language learning!

My English accent is neutral and easy to understand. I’m from Warwickshire, England.
My lessons focus on speaking practice and mastering verb tenses. We usually discuss a topic or work on a specific area, with plenty of opportunities for you to speak. I’ll help you express yourself clearly and naturally. I can also support students with test preparation, presentations, and specific English skills.
I mainly teach adults and children aged 7+.
I hold teaching qualifications and a university degree, and I’ve given presentations at teaching conferences as well as delivered professional training. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are interactive, and I encourage you to speak as much as possible. I have a patient and calm teaching style, and I support you while you speak, offering corrections and feedback when needed.
I have extensive experience teaching English grammar and verb tenses, which I believe are essential for speaking clearly and accurately.
After our lesson, I’m happy to send you lesson notes and optional homework to help you continue practising.
Lessons work very well on Zoom, using the whiteboard when helpful. The italki classroom is also a great option.My teaching material

Tom is an excellent and positive teacher!
It's easy to talk to him about any topics. The lessons always have a plan, with new words for each new topic, which is very convenient. I also like that Tom writes pronunciation mistakes and we can discuss them. This way, I can make good progress :)
