I have a bachelor and a teaching degree in Literature from the University of Buenos Aires, one of the most prestigious in Latin America. I was born in Mexico, but I have lived in Buenos Aires since 2018. I am also passionate about art, and I studied dance professionally when I was a teenager.Me as a Teacher
I am very warm and friendly, I am interested in developing good relationships with my students. I'm very good at explaining grammar and pronunciation. Being a native speaker, I can be demanding with details with advanced students, but I also encourage beginners to speak and write despite mistakes.My lessons & teaching style
I am interested in teaching from practice. Grammar and rules of linguistics are very important at the beginning, but in my experience you always learn more when you have contact with the language in context, so I place a lot of importance on conversation and using materials that native Spanish speakers could read or listen daily.My teaching material

Giovanna has a really great ability to identify the needs of the day and adapt a class to meet those needs. She always has a multitude of lesson materials and activities ready to pull from. I think this speaks highly to not only her experience as a teacher but also to her dedication to ensuring each of her students gets the most benefit from their time in class!

Excellent lesson! Giovanna crafted the lesson based on my performance in previous lessons, and gave me the chance to listen, speak, read, and learn grammar rules and uses. She is very warm and affable, and was very patient while I tried to form more complex sentences. I've tried several teachers on iTalki, and am very fond of Giovanna's teaching style and pace.
