Hi, I'm Mariset!
While I am a dedicated Spanish teacher, I’m also a passionate linguist and cultural enthusiast.
My journey with languages began officially when I pursued a degree in Modern Languages, which gave me a solid foundation in grammar and linguistics. My education continues today as I finalize my Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (ELE)—meaning my methods are always current and effective.
I currently live in France, and this experience has taught me what it truly takes to adapt to a new country and achieve fluency. I understand the cultural hurdles and the excitement of using a new language in daily life.

My qualifications (5+ years of experience and an ELE Master’s degree) ensure our time is focused and effective. I don't just chat; I use a professional method to help you:

I prioritize your fluency by taking detailed notes of errors and reviewing them strategically at a later time. I've now had a few classes with Mariset, we do conversation, and all of them have gone very well. I taught English for many years so I have some ideas on how I like private conversation classes and Mariset fits my ideas. I tend to bring my own questions to ask Mariset about vocab, culture or some subject and she patiently addresses my questions giving examples if necessary to pronunciation, word choice, cultural habits, etc. We tend to have a free flowing conversation no lack of topics to discuss as we share some things such as: a love of languages, having lived abroad, love of travel, different cultures, etc.
