Lessons are always engaging with Eva. She responds using vocabulary I can understand. She puts me at ease despite my limited skill, which encourages me to speak more rather than be afraid to make mistakes. So, we can converse more and more. I am making progress. Conversation also gives me the opportunity to master words I've forgotten. I'm enjoying the process very much.

Great teacher! I have been attending classes now for a few months and my understanding of Chinese is so much better than I ever thought possible. I never imagined I would be able to read Chinese characters so well or so quickly! The reason I have stayed with Eva is her teaching style and personality. She knows when I am just being lazy and pushes me to a higher level of difficulty. Yet this is done in a manner that does not feel overwhelming. She also has an excellent memory on what my weaknesses are and challenges me in every lesson to not become complacent, but to push myself to do better than I currently am. I highly recommend her as a teacher! The progress I have made under her instruction constantly amazes me and my local Chinese-speaking friends!

Teacher Eva is very friendly and positive, she has a lot of class materials, she uses slides, eBooks, textbooks, or conversation prompts on Google Classroom. She has a lot of experience teaching HSK 1 to HSK 6.

Eva was really patient even though I kept on making the same mistake numerous times, and she kindly corrected me each time. I enjoyed having a formal lesson with her and also the opportunity to chat freely like you would with a friend!

Eva continues to be an amazing teacher for me! She adapts to what I have self studied and to what I want to learn and she is always super helpful!
