Hi! I’m Lukas, a Spanish tutor from Chile 🇨🇱 and a student of philosophy. I’m passionate about sharing my native language and helping students reach their goals—whether it’s becoming fluent, preparing for a trip, or simply enjoying Spanish through books, movies, or conversations. Studying philosophy gives me a thoughtful and creative approach to language and communication. I also enjoy reading, cinema, and outdoor activities, and I love bringing these interests into our lessons to keep them fun and meaningful. Me as a Teacher

I know how intimidating it can feel to speak a new language—but I’ll help you make it natural and enjoyable. My classes are relaxed and conversation-based, with a focus on real-life communication. We’ll talk about topics you care about—travel, culture, movies, your daily life—while naturally improving your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I’ll correct your mistakes gently, only when needed, so you can gain fluency and confidence. I aim to create a space where you feel free to express yourself without pressure. And if you ever have questions between lessons, I’m happy to help—just send me a message!

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are ideal for upper-beginner to advanced learners (A2–C2). Each session is based on conversation—we’ll discuss topics you enjoy, such as travel, culture, films, or daily life. I’ll guide you with thoughtful questions and encourage you to speak as much as possible. As we talk, I’ll correct your mistakes gently and help you improve your vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency in a natural way. You’ll leave each class with personalized tips and extra resources—like podcasts, videos, or articles—to keep learning between sessions. Learning a language should be engaging, not stressful. Let’s make your Spanish journey something you truly enjoy.

Lukas is an exceptional person and conversationalist. We have discussed a wide variety of topics during our lessons, which in turn has helped me improve my vocabulary. He is extremely kind and positive during our conversations, and I love that he speaks in a very calm tone, and most imporantly, he enunciates very clearly during our entire lesson. All my chats with him feel like a conversation with a close friend. I am glad to have found Lukas as a tutor. I highly recommend him!
