I′m a very patient and friendly tutor. I learn languages by myself as well so I know how it can be very difficult to stay still motivated. Very important for me is to make my lessons useful and enjoyable for all of my students. I always try to create exactly such an environment based on the needs of my students. I have experience with students from different countries and of different levels so It doesn't matter what kind of level is your language because every time there is some way :)

I’m here to help you reach fluency with the natural method with which I learned 10 languages so far I have been teaching languages since 2012 and on italki since Oct 2020. I am a patient, versatile and relaxed teacher with a good sense of humour. I know learning a new language can be challenging, so, I like to give a lot of encouragement. I easily adjust to the needs/level of each student. I specialize in beginner/intermediate students and also help advanced students prepare for job interviews/presentations.

Quite a strict and SYSTEMATIC teacher for complete beginners. As well as for difficult conversation. I am systematic and focused on grammar drills. In the case of conversation, I place great emphasis on the elimination of systematic errors and thus demand a focused performance from students. I have experience preparing Czech students for high school and college admission tests. Also have a great experience in preparing students for the oral part of the medical faculty exams, where my students scored above standard in this part, which helped them to be admitted to their chosen faculty. I have direct teaching experience from primary school. I aim for a systematic approach, which in the case of beginners, represents the use of the original procedures used in the Czech primary school.

Being a student for such a long time I know for sure that there is nothing more important than patience and support on the way of learning a foreign language. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and relaxed in our classes.

I have been helping many friends. I have taught children, and adults, not only Czech but also English, German and Spanish. I regularly attend tandems and arrange language swaps. During my sabbatical in Africa, I have been teaching children in Uganda and also spent 3 weeks teaching children in a school in rural Zambia. Children loved my classes. They told me that finally they understood the topics and always persuaded me not to stop the class :D I have been teaching online since October 2022.

I will try to help you as much as I can. Everybody makes mistakes so don´t worry about that! I am here for you. We can start with basic phrases and just and say them over and over again. Repeatition is the key to everything! We can talk about your hobbies, traveling, daily routine...

I am a very patient teacher. I know what it takes to learn a new language. I will always do my best to find a way of teaching that suits you and to explain the Czech language rules clearly. We will practice conversation so you can feel more confident but also have to dive into Czech grammar, which is quite complex, but a necessary part of the language. I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, that's how you improve. Remember that language is a marathon, not a sprint. :) Motivation is something that helps you to get started, but consistency is the key.

Having studied Modern Languages during my undergraduate degree combined with three years of English teaching experience, I have developed a deep understanding of language acquisition and effective teaching methods. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students achieve their language learning goals.

I have lots of experience working with children (ages babies - 12 years old). First of all from my time in London where I worked as a nanny and then in Mexico where I was teaching English to children from the age of 4 until 12. However I also taught adult classes. Having learnt English myself I know how very important it is to be an active student with loads of speaking and pronunciation practice. That is my main focus in my lessons. I am patient, friendly and chatty and I like to make my lessons fun and engaging.

Teaching Czech as a foreign language is not just a profession for me, it’s my real passion!
