Hi, I'm Silver! I've been fascinated by languages since I was a kid, and for the past year I've been learning Spanish myself on italki. That experience taught me something important: the progress you make when you actually speak out loud (not just study grammar rules) is life-changing. It's actually why I decided to start teaching English. I'm new to teaching, but I bring real empathy to the process, because I'm going through the exact same journey as a learner right now. I know what it feels like to stumble over words, to feel nervous speaking to a native speaker, and to have that breakthrough moment when a conversation finally clicks. So.. what's your English goal? Are you looking to speak more confidently, prepare for work or travel, or just get more comfortable having real conversations?

Study with a university instructor with an MA in literature. Fluent in Russian, French and Spanish. I’ve taught English, literature and writing in 3 U.S. universities and colleges, a language school in Moscow, and online. I’m patient, understanding, organized, and progress-oriented. I strive to create a relaxed learning environment which at the same time forces students to express themselves in new, varied, precise and sophisticated ways. My teaching philosophy reflects what I myself seek as a language student, namely: 1. a caring and cheerful teacher who sincerely wants to help their students grow; 2. intellectually stimulating topics that generate meaningful discussion; 3. ample speaking practice with a focus on language development, vocabulary enrichment, and grammatical accuracy.

Learn to Speak English Naturally with a Friendly, Experienced Teacher Hi, I’m Dylan! I’m an English teacher with five years of online teaching experience, and my lessons focus primarily on conversation practice. My goal is to give you plenty of time to speak, express your ideas, and become more comfortable using English in real conversations. We can talk about your interests, daily life, travel, culture, current topics, or anything else you enjoy discussing. As a language learner myself, I understand how difficult it can be to speak without overthinking or worrying about mistakes. My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and supportive, making them a good fit for shy learners and anyone who wants regular speaking practice in a comfortable environment. During our conversations, I can help you notice mistakes, use more natural vocabulary and expressions, and communicate your ideas more clearly. I’ll adapt my corrections to your preferences, whether you want frequent feedback or prefer to focus on speaking freely. I’ve also studied Japanese for over four years, which has helped me better understand the challenges of learning and communicating in another language. However, I welcome students from all backgrounds and language levels. Please note that my lessons are conversation-focused rather than textbook-based or exam-preparation courses. Let’s enjoy meaningful conversations and build your confidence one lesson at a time. I look forward to meeting you!
