Brian is perfect for anyone who wants to practise actually speaking French, rather than having someone speak mostly English and never really learning the language. He is patient and understanding, and even when I feel like giving up, he explains things again in slower French. That has been perfect for me as someone who has tried to learn French before but felt like I wasn’t progressing. His lessons push you to speak French, which has been really helpful for my development. If you want to actually learn to speak and have real conversations in French—not just memorise vocabulary that may not feel practical—I would definitely recommend him.

Well, that's my last review here. I got NCLC7 Expression Orale and NCLC9 EE in my FIRST TEF. This is definitely due to following Youcef's lessons with discipline. If I could give anyone a single advice onto how to get this score, it would be: do not go any farther over Italki searching for a teacher. Start your lessons with Youcef today and stick to the plan, trust the process. Have discipline and study with him. Studying with him is having a friend who really cares about your success and knows everything about the french exams; not only a teacher who corrects mistakes. As I scheduled this last lesson, I only had one objective, and I did it: I taught this phrase my wife and we said together : Merci beaucoup, Youcef !!!

She is the best for both the General French and the DELF preparation! As for the General French, over 4 years my learning experience has evolved thanks to her approach to tailor the lessons. I learn French for a professional objective, and my situation has changed: the language level, the responsibilities on the job, and the context of the work. Accordingly, she has constantly adapted materials and methods. That has developed my skill in an organic way. In terms of DELF preparation, she guided me step by step. At the beginning, DELF felt daunting.
