I received my degree in languages and literature in 1986. One of my first jobs was worked as a congress hostess and also as a tourist translator. In 1992, I started to teach Italian as a foreign language for all levels, from beginners to advanced. I have taught one to one, groups and also full immersion lessons as requested. In the last few years, I have also taught children and young people using Skype. My certified Italian language teacher diploma is from the University of Siena ( Ditals I ) and from the University of Perugia ( DILS PG II ). I am registered in the professional register of teachers of Italian for foreigners known as APIDIS (Albo Professionale Insegnanti di Italiano )

Ho una laurea triennale in Lingue, Culture, Letterature e Traduzione all'Università La Sapienza di Roma. Ho appena conseguito una laurea magistrale in Scienze Linguistiche, Letterarie e della Traduzione. Ho sempre avuto una grande passione per le lingue e per le letterature straniere. Sono su Italki come tutor di italiano da più di due anni. Trovo che sia un'esperienza molto stimolante e gratificante perché ti permette di conoscere persone nuove e di avere un vero scambio culturale. Rispetto ai mezzi usati durante la lezione, mi piace usare materiali differenti sia per la spiegazione di vocaboli ed espressioni di base, per esempio articoli, parti di libri, testi di canzoni e altri testi da usare come base per fare conversazione. Il tutto verrà concordato con lo studente, sempre considerando le sue esigenze e competenze linguistiche. Sono molto paziente e ci tengo a creare un ambiente di scambio che metta lo studente a proprio agio. Per quanto riguarda le lezioni, la pratica orale sarà fondamentale, proprio per far in modo che, pian piano, lo studente riesca a fare sua la lingua. Pertanto, si può procedere con la lettura di vari tipi di testo, la successiva comprensione e discussione, oppure con la simulazione di situazioni diverse, a partire da quelle più presenti nel quotidiano fino a situazioni inventate con l’uso del role-play.
