My 35 years of teaching are at your disposal! I have been teaching languages since the age of 19 and have a lot of experience dealing with different types of people. I do have a lot of material prepared and I make it available to my students via email, Skype and WhatsApp. I am very organized, but the three decades of teaching experience allows me to 'go with the flow' if needs be.

Gracias a mis estudios he tenido muchas experiencias de enseñanza. I graduated (cum laude) in Filology from Sapienza University in Rome and I got a PhD in Second Language Acquisition. Thanks to my studies I have been able to make many experiences of teaching.

Certified Russian language teacher and examiner (ТРКИ) I teach Russian professionally since 2015 when I graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Also I’m a certified examiner (since 2020), I have the right to administer tests in Russian (ТРКИ, all levels). I teach Russian to adults at all levels.

Finally, during my classes I like to speak a little bit about culture of the language we are studying and to do some language structure’s comparisons which are very interesting to understand how languages work (a little bit of linguistics help).

You acquire a language when you start using it, even imperfectly. My role is to create the conditions for that to happen as soon as possible. I correct with judgement, focusing on what genuinely gets in the way of communication and leaving room for spontaneous expression. I've worked with students at very different levels and I adapt my pace and register to whoever is in front of me. Most students go from A1 to B2 within a year to a year and a half with one hour of practice per week.

My students say I'm very patient. :) As a student of languages myself, I know that speaking the target language with a native speaker since the start is the best way to progress faster; I also believe that a relaxed and informal atmosphere is vital to learn effectively and feel more confident, because our brains work much better when not under pressure. I will use Italian as much as possible and, most importantly, I will make YOU use Italian as much as possible, even if you are a beginner. However, sometimes clarity is necessary so we can use English or French - and I still remember a little bit of Norwegian and Swedish.
