On my side, I am available in finding a solution that works for both the student and me and I understand the importance of student's needs; however, I do think that the essential ingredient for success is student's commitment. I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

I have taught in private schools and universities, provided basic literacy training for asylum-seekers, and worked one-on-one with students of all levels from all over the world. I’ve met people from many different cultures, and I’ve learned something new from each one. The most important part of my lessons is focusing on the individual who is learning. I hold a degree in Occupational Psychology. I completed university courses in teaching Italian as a foreign language, and I continue to take refresher courses in online language teaching.
