What you have to do is just hearing Japanese language a lot, like podcasts, movies, animes, music,YouTube videos etc... and speak it . I believe that helps you to pick up words and sentence structures naturally. And you can also pick up native terms from it as well. That will help you speaking Japanese a lot. U.S -Based Linguist, Medical Interpreter, TESOL Chinese/Japanese/English Professional Teacher I hold two Masters degrees from the University of Colorado - Japanese Language and Civilization, and Linguistics. The former provided me with extensive training in translation, interpretation, and literary analysis from both historical and modern perspectives. Linguistics offered me the theoretical and practical basis for teaching a foreign language. I am especially interested in applying phonetic and phonological strategies to classroom teaching in order to prepare students for a native-like pronunciation and intuition. I am a native Chinese Mandarin speaker with Japanese heritage. With the educational training mentioned above, I am capable of teaching both languages.

I've studied about Japanese grammar at training school and I have an experience as a teaching assistant at Japanese school in Cambodia. Also I was a tutor of university students who has just started studying Japanese. I feel very happy to teach Japanese and support studying Japanese. I still teach at the podium, giving classes to 20 to 25 students per class. Up until now, I have taught Hiragana and Katakana to intermediate to advanced level. Even people who can't speak Japanese at all can teach. We offer classes tailored to everyone from beginners to advanced students.

When I learn languages on italki, I use the method that I developed for myself. I believe this is fun and effective for students, so I would like to use this in my Japanese lessons. In my method, we use movies/animes with Japanese subtitles.

I have 6 years of teaching Japanese language in private lessons. Teaching allowed me to never forget the Japanese and to build courses as I imagined them ! I also made interventions in primary classes to spread the Asian culture to French children, because it's a little known universe. During the summer holidays, I taught French to Dutch children to introduce them to French in a fun way and not speaking their language it was always instructive ! My specialty is to teach languages to people who have a concrete project with the country. My biggest wish is that you reach your goals and become autonomous !

Since November 2017, I have been working as a Community Tutor at Italki. Besides classes on the Internet, I also teach in the classroom. My students range from junior high school to adults of all ages. I have also had lessons with kindergarten students and elementary school children. I love studying foreign languages myself.
