私は１０年前からボランティアで日本語を教えています　今も毎週２０人の人たちにたのしく日本語を教えています　わたしは初心者からJLPTのN2レベルまで教えることができます。また日本の中学生にじゅくで　英語を教えていましたので　英語で日本語を教えることもできます。 I have taught Japanese for 10 years as a volunteer. I teach Japanese to 20 foreigners every week. I can teach Japanese from the beginners to JLPT N2 level. I have taught English to Japanese students as a part time job. So I can teach Japanese in English.

I first got involved in teaching Japanese as a conversation tutor when I was at the university in San Francisco, USA.  Since then, I love working with people from different cultural backgrounds. This is also one of the reasons why I became a documentary photographer. I have visited over 90 countries to document different cultures and people. For the joy of teaching, I have also taught photography at workshops. Teaching requires a great deal of patience and communication artistry which also apply to become a good photographer as well.  In general, it is truly rewarding to see my students succeed in learning skills.

My teaching experience includes helping students prepare for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and supporting students who were studying Japanese for entrance exams to Japanese high schools. While living overseas, I also had the opportunity to teach Japanese at local schools using English. Through these experiences, I have worked with students from different backgrounds. I am currently studying Dutch (A2). Having experienced firsthand the challenges of language learning, I strive to provide flexible instruction tailored to your goals, guided by the motto of “practical and enjoyable learning.”

I have started teaching as a teaching assistant in Japanese classes when I was going to college. For the last 20 years, I've been helping new employees to get adjusted to their lives in Japan. Teaching basic Japanese was one of the support I was providing. I have helped my friends to pass JLPT. I have also supported foreign tourists as a volunteer guide in Tokyo, Osaka and Hiroshima. Therefore, I am confident that I can support beginner level students well. I love seeing their smiles when they were able to use the language that they learned with locals.
