Nesta trajetória, cursei ainda Pedagogia e História, e fiz pós-graduação em Psicopedagogia Institucional, Teatro na Educação, e Tutorial para Ensino à Distância. Sempre apreciei a arte e a comunicação como bases importantes do meu conteúdo e, assim, pude me utilizar também da literatura que eu escrevia, de poemas e peças de teatro, para aplicar nos meus contextos de sala de aula, o que me resultou em cinco livros publicados, alguns de temas voltados para o ensino das aulas que ministrei.

Our materials will be available on Google Drive and will be updated weekly with homework assignments. I hold a degree in Linguistics from the Federal University of Bahia. My methodology integrates the most current research-backed techniques in second language acquisition, including Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) and Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), which prioritize meaningful, real-world communication and authentic language use. I have three kinds of classes: 1) The Portuguese Course - In this model, you are independent and responsible for getting ready before the meeting. I'll send the documents before the class. 2) Classes for CELPE-Bras (Brazilian Portuguese proficiency exam) - In this model, we study the CELPE-Bras exam and its purpose. 3) Free-dynamic classes - We'll work with topics and discuss them; the goal is more conversation and pronunciation.

I also worked for the MimicMethod for a few years, where I was the Head of French Instruction and helped give specific pronunciation feedback to students. Later on, I also took lessons with a cinema accent coach and got acquainted with a more theatrical approach, which helped me be more versatile in my feedback. When I see one type of feedback doesn't work, I try another one. I graduated from Law School but decided to keep teaching, which is something I do until this day and intend to do for a long time. So I have plenty of experience. I've used books from several widely known institutions and have attended several trainings, but I find that conversation is the best way to learn as all the other aspects of the language can be developed from that.
