Polyglot specialized in learning I've previous experiences as an informal teacher. While studying at the university I offered private lessons in both Swedish and Italian. Primarily for me, it's really important to understand the student's level so that I can plan the lesson in advance with the most proper material. I'm patient and I tend to give a lot of space to the student during my lessons.

A licensed teacher in Swedish, English, Spanish and a Polyglot (6 languages and counting) As a teacher, I am professional, structured and I know how to motivate my students - which is exactly why I have had success in my classrooms so far. Since I am a professional teacher - and by professional I mean licensed - I am familiar with the latest methods and approaches to teaching and learning. The fact that I speak four languages is useful for you as a student, as I can incorporate my knowledge of languages into the content that I deliver. Languages are seldom isolated; rather, they are interconnected in such as way that you, if you are able to master several languages, are much more likely to be able to explain grammatical concepts and structures in a pedagogical and digestible way.

Conversational Swedish with Martin! Even though I haven't had much experience teaching language earlier I´ve been giving guitar lessons to kids as well as being a music teacher in a school here in Lisbon. These experiences taught me how to teach in a way that is fun, easy-going, relaxed and natural. Mistakes are good, that´s how we learn!

I've had different Japanese teachers on Italki, and I want to bring some of the things I like about them in to my own lessons. I think it's important to be friendly, patient and encouraging but also make sure to correct bad habits and be honest.

I like to be as responsive to the students requests as possible so depending on why they are learning the language I like to adjust the lessons. My personal belief (and also how I learn myself) is that the best way to learn is to be engaging with the language while having fun. I also encourage my students to dig deeper into the culture as this will really help them grow in the language I like recommending movies songs etc. As a person and as a teacher I am the one that tries to get through every day/task with a smile.

Swedish for Everyday Life | Lär dig prata naturlig svenska My lessons combine relaxed conversation with practical guidance. We’ll work on pronunciation, cultural understanding, and how Swedes really speak in daily life. I have a background in creative writing and education and I would love helping you find your own voice in Swedish. My goal is that you leave each session feeling understood and motivated! Mina lektioner kombinerar avslappnade samtal med praktisk vägledning. Vi kommer att arbeta med uttal, kulturell förståelse och hur svenskar verkligen talar i vardagen. Jag har en bakgrund inom kreativt skrivande och utbildning och skulle gärna hjälpa dig att hitta din egen röst. Mitt mål är att du lämnar varje session motiverad och förstådd!

Although it might sound cliché, I really do believe that with the right mindset, anything is possible. That’s why I always aim to make learning feel relaxed, positive, and fun. I’m super patient and genuinely enjoy helping others. Over the years, I’ve tutored in a bunch of different subjects, and it’s such a great feeling to see someone improve and grow more confident. My goal here is to help you feel the same way while learning Swedish, at your own pace and in a way that works for you.

Swedish is my native language but I live in Italy. Let's have some easygoing conversations! When you book your lesson please leave a 15 min space between the lessons. Thank You! I came to Italy to learn Italian, but before that I also studied french in Geneva and Paris. Conversation is for me the most important part of learning a language and I learned french and Italian really fast in this way. I am often available on weekends. Welcome! Jag kom till Italien för att lära mig italienska, men innan dess studerade jag också franska i Genève och Paris. Samtal är för mig den viktigaste delen av att lära sig ett språk, och jag lärde mig franska och italienska mycket snabbt på det sättet. Jag är ofta tillgänglig under helgerna. Välkommen!

Language learning made fun through creative and interactive means I don't like to call myself a teacher because of the connotation in my brain. I see a teacher as someone traditionally teaching grammar structures in a classroom and having students study one long wordlist after the other, but that's just my perception! I'd call myself a tutor because I like to teach people Swedish informally and using all the creative means I can to get words and expressions to stick with them. Being a calm and patient person also makes me into an ideal tutor!

Empathetic German & Swedish Mentor – Real Conversations, Real Progress While living in Sweden, I have had the privilege to have gathered experience as a teacher for people immigrating to the country (SFI teacher), and also as a teacher for adolescent students at a regular school. These experiences taught me how important it is to create a safe, encouraging space for learning, where students feel safe and supported rather than judged. Since I have relocated from Germany to Sweden, I also know a bit or two about the challenges of moving to a new country, starting a new life, including learning a new language and adapting to a new culture and often unspoken rules.

I really like to help other people out, and it means a lot to me when I can help someone get a clear idea of something they had struggled to understand. I try to listen to my students and take their suggestions into account. Often the lessons become quite personalised and it feels like we have designed them together. My students say that I’m friendly, patient, knowledgeable and good at explaining fine nuances of meaning.

✨ Good Vibes, Great Times and Language Learning ✨ For years, I’ve participated in various language exchanges. Currently, I’m studying to become a professional language teacher. I really love contributing to people's language journey. My goal is to inspire and share my passion for languages in a relaxed, creative, open-minded, positive and encouraging way, where I give lots of support. Important values are also communication, respect, understanding and patience. I will try to make the lessons fun. I know that learning a new language takes time and dedication. So the most important thing is to have a good time, to make it easier to stay motivated.

According to rumors, Swedish can be kind of fun! I have been teaching Swedish for more than two years and I would describe myself as a fun, engaging and supportive tutor. Having studied languages at university, I have a good understanding of what is important if you want to become confident in a language. I do believe that the approach to language learning is that it should be as fun, motivating and as supportive as possible. So, basically the opposite of my previous career as a recruiter :)

Certified Swedish teacher with more than fifteen years of teaching experience I love teaching because it can help others improve their skills. It gives me joy and excitement meeting learners form all over the world. I am interested in many different topics, and I am happy to focus on my learners goals. As a Swedish teacher I like to teach people to look at words ( notes = melody ) and sentences ( chords = harmony ) in an inseparable way. While pursuing my education, I also worked part time as an SAS teacher. This experience taught me how to manage larger class sizes, work with diverse learners of various skills, levels and backgrounds and use technology to encourage learning and retention.

Motivation and building self-confidence is key, I believe I can help you with both! As a teacher I am attentive, flexible and supportive. My focus is not only on helping you with the language itself with all that it entails, but to build your confidence, provide you with a safe and encouraging environment, and to help motivate you and find ways for you to use what you’ve learned. I am a good listener and conversationalist and I can chat about anything.

As a teacher I am easygoing and lighthearted, with laughs never far away. With that said, I don't like things getting silly, so you don't need to worry about the lesson turning in to a circus. Knowing how hard it is to learn a new language, I will always be very patient with you. I am an optimistic person so I will always highlight your progress more than your mistakes. I want your experience to be more like hanging out with a friend than with a professor, but that you learn at least as much.
