I have taught classes in English and Portuguese for over 10 years, focusing mostly on music, but also on language instruction. I've had close to a thousand students in my career, both in social projects and private companies, online and in person. I've been teaching Portuguese and English to children and adults since 1992. I'm very patient. Currently, I teach Grade 6 and 7 at a primary school. I've been tutoring Portuguese at the local university since 2009. I've also been a Portuguese examiner/moderator at a South African university since 2013. Privately, I tutor students from Taiwan, China, Ireland, Italy and other countries, and of course, Eswatini (Swaziland). Recently, I taught a beginner's course in Portuguese over a 6 month period to the management staff of a prominent company in Swaziland. I also edit documents. I do translations from Portuguese to English and vice versa.

I am a very passionate teacher and I want my students to have fun during the classes. Moreover, I focus on all language skills - listening, speaking, writing and reading while also introducing information about culture if the person is interested.

Brazilian Portuguese and English teacher, aspiring polyglot and occasional poet I have a teaching degree from University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where I studied Portuguese. I also have a degree in English teaching and the CELTA Certificate by University of Cambridge. I've been learning English since I was 11, and teaching it since I was 16. I spent 5 months in Germany in 2017 and this experience abroad made me develop great intercultural skills - I love meeting students from all over the world and not just teaching them, but learning so much from them at the same time.
