Brazilian Portuguese Teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Languages and Literature Oi, gente! I'm Nayara, a Brazilian Portuguese tutor from Rio de Janeiro with over 5 years of experience. During college, I studied from Brazilian literature classics to American and British culture, which made me able to build an interesting bridge between Brazilian Portuguese and English, besides studies in Linguistics and Phonetics, of course. This degree prepared me to understand different nuances and variations that happen due to factors like region, culture, social class, age, etc., and to have my mind open to comprehend my students' goals and needs. Now, I'm learning Greek as my third language, which is essential for my present and future here in Greece. I'm also a Translator and UX Designer, but lately I've been more dedicated to writing, including music. My methods are dynamic, not too orthodox so that learning can become lighter and more interesting. I usually work with whiteboards and/or texts, and I have material directed to the Portuguese Language training for foreigners, but I'm always open to suggestions, according to the students' preferences, such as videos and games as well. I love exchanging knowledge and experiences with foreigners and showing them more about my country and culture so we can learn beyond stereotypes. Literature, Culture, and daily Portuguese!🔥 📚 Education is a very personal thing since different human beings have different interests and goals. although a part of learning a language is generic and common to every speaker (such as grammar), other relevant parts are absolutely personal such as the style, the content you consume, etc. ✒️ For this reason, I try to always conduct a class based on the student's interests.  I picked up a poem in my introduction video just because it's my interest, but we can use materials from arts, sports, series, films, music, gastronomy, and so on.  🏆 so be prepared to have a fun lesson.
