"Nativa de português, trilíngue e com experiência internacional" I've been working as a tutor on italki for 5 years, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of my life. I genuinely feel fulfilled working here. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching over 70 students—many of whom have become close friends—and have conducted more than 700 lessons. I’ve also been continuously improving my English in order to be even more helpful to my students during our sessions. Additionally, I had the opportunity to live in Mexico for 9 months, where I became proficient in Spanish. This experience has enriched both my language skills and my ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds.

I also studied two years of Literature and Languages in Brazil, which gave me a deep appreciation for linguistic variation and how cultural differences and the various ways people express themselves can influence changes in a language. This can be seen both in the English spoken in tourist cities that attract digital nomads, like Lisbon, and in Portuguese in Brazil, which is huge and has one of the most diverse populations and cultures in the world. There are many different accents and ways of speaking across the country. In my lessons, I bring this experience to help students communicate naturally and confidently, while exploring both grammar and the rich cultural context of the language.

CELTA certification acquired in December 2020. My experience started in 2018 in Peru where I taught English in two language schools for a year. In the meantime I applied to be a community tutor here at Italki where I have been teaching not only English but also Portuguese and Spanish. My passion for teaching only grew with the time so I took a CELTA certificate in the end of 2020 and this experience provided me with a solid base and opened the way in many aspects of my career.
