Teaching 11 languages, currently learning 3 more When teaching I take both my schedule and my classes seriously. When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our past sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our class, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.

I have been teaching Swedish on Italki since 2017, so I am experienced with both new beginners and those who are fluent and all levels in between. No matter how much you know, there are always some things you can learn. I don't have any dialect. I speak rikssvenska (the official/neutral dialect). I speak clearly. It is easy to understand me.

I have had students that hardly knew the alphabet when I started to teach them and I have had students that already spoke quite good Swedish when I met them. I am flexible as a teacher and I try to adapt my teaching to what my students need.

I really like to help other people out, and it means a lot to me when I can help someone get a clear idea of something they had struggled to understand. I try to listen to my students and take their suggestions into account. Often the lessons become quite personalised and it feels like we have designed them together.
