I see a teacher as someone traditionally teaching grammar structures in a classroom and having students study one long wordlist after the other, but that's just my perception! I'd call myself a tutor because I like to teach people Swedish informally and using all the creative means I can to get words and expressions to stick with them. Being a calm and patient person also makes me into an ideal tutor!

I believe that learning a language should be both fun and engaging, and I will do my best to keep classes uplifting and interesting. Homework and study pace will be set according to your schedule. Basically what I am saying is that we will customize the classes so that they suit your way of studying, and help you achieve your goals.

Having studied languages at university, I have a good understanding of what is important if you want to become confident in a language.
