I really like to help other people out, and it means a lot to me when I can help someone get a clear idea of something they had struggled to understand. I try to listen to my students and take their suggestions into account. Often the lessons become quite personalised and it feels like we have designed them together. My students say that I’m friendly, patient, knowledgeable and good at explaining fine nuances of meaning.

Swedish is my native language but I live in Italy. Let's have some easygoing conversations! When you book your lesson please leave a 15 min space between the lessons. Thank You! I came to Italy to learn Italian, but before that I also studied french in Geneva and Paris. Conversation is for me the most important part of learning a language and I learned french and Italian really fast in this way. I am often available on weekends.

Hi! During the spring 2025 I will have no time for new students. I have been teaching Swedish on Italki since 2017, so I am experienced with both new beginners and those who are fluent and all levels in between. No matter how much you know, there are always some things you can learn. I don't have any dialect. I speak rikssvenska. I speak very clearly. It is easy to understand me.

Thomas - teaching 11 languages, currently learning 3 more When teaching I take both my schedule and my classes seriously. When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our past sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our class, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.

Mostly Conversation Practice! Speak it till you make it! As a teacher I always try to figure out what each individual person needs to practice. That is why I like to have a simple conversation the first lesson and ask what the student wants to study and see what level they are in. I always try to make the lesson contents according to the students level. While teaching I always try to make sure my students speaks and expresses themselves as much as possible and I'll always encourage them and also fill in the blanks to give them a little push so they won't be stopping in the middle of the sentence.

I began teaching Italian as a native speaking teacher in 2012. During the years I focused more on teaching German literature and language at university, I worked as high school teacher in German and Swedish as a second language and I took different training courses concerning language teaching, pedagogy and didactic. I see myself as a very patient and understanding teacher, who likes to explain, help, and try and try again until we reach our goals. As a teacher, I always think that I have a lot to learn from my students and I see teaching as a great opportunity to meet new people, share competences, interests and experiences and learn more about the world.

Important values are also communication, respect, understanding and patience. I will try to make the lessons fun. I know that learning a new language takes time and dedication. So the most important thing is to have a good time, to make it easier to stay motivated.

As a community teacher on Italki, I specialize in teaching Finnish. It is important for me to make the lessons suitable for each student, so I usually discuss students' preferences first and then provide my thoughts on how we should approach learning this language. The key is to keep the learning process interesting and fun, because that makes it also effective.

Educative and fun Swedish lessons with a native - Experienced and passionate private tutor As a teacher I am very passionate, encouraging and flexible. It's important for me to create a fun and safe environment for you to learn in, as well as be flexible to your learning needs. I prioritize keeping open and continuous communication regarding your goals and needs so to make sure the lessons progress tailored to you. I absolutely love teaching and each of us have different goals and desires for learning a language. My methodology is to find out what that is for each student, and from there create fun and fulfilling lessons to help you reach that goal in the best way possible.

I'm an upbeat, creative teacher who wants your experience learning Swedish to be joyful and not feel like a chore. All learning is "a practice not a perfect" and I want you to feel comfortable to try and make mistakes. In my years of teaching children I have learned to be flexible and allowing the lesson to follow a natural flow rather than sticking to something that doesn't benefit my students.
