I have 17 years experience in teaching. I am a teacher, language trainer, teacher's coach, mentor, doctor of education, an educational scientist, adviser and author. All my life I have been trained "to be the best teacher" and "help students achieve their goals", so, I did my best. I worked for 5 years in secondary and high school, where I taught English, South Slavic language(s) and literature. Then, I worked for a while as an Expert Associate in the Education Research at the Methodology Department of Faculty of Sport. Also, I was active in the fields of project coordination, curriculum development, workshops for self-esteem development and programs for intercultural sensitivity and competence. Teaching is my motivation and passion, and with it I am meeting lots of interesting and great people from all over the world. Currently, I am an active online teacher, I teach teachers 'how to teach online?', I travel as much as I can and enjoy the world.

    I do not agree with Kamenko and Dragana, here are some reasons:

    When it comes to Sarajevo people they are very open mind, and they like to talk about Sarajevo, ant its diversity. They are so proud of the fact that "Sarajevo has 4 religions, 3 official languages and that is European Jerusalem".They are all familiar with those cultural differences, and they like to share it. 

    Also, they like to talk about politics as well. Favors topic is complaining about government "that they are not doing anything, everything is the same and nothing is going to be changed". 

    When it is coming to "war topic", it is something where you could be sensitive, because some of those people lost their relatives and friends, and if they want to talk about that is fine. But in general, at institutions like museums, libraries, schools, galleries.. they are very open to talk about it and I felt very free to ask what ever was my interest.

    Dear Aegis, I am so sorry, I don't like this style of humor, but thanks for your comment. The discussion was about one paragraph from the book (also, I think I added refernece -  "The Triple Focus: A New Approach to Education" Goleman and Senge).  So, what would you say about "...response lies in developing three crucial skill sets: focusing on ourselves (self awareness), tuning into other people (empathy and caring), and understanding the larger world (systems thinking)...." (Daniel Goleman & Peter Senge, 2014)?

    what is your ideal image as an English learner? Is it being able to speak smoothly? Is it being able to easily understand native speakers? Decide who you want to become and imagine it in as much detail as you can. This is your future self.

    okay...we have: Chinese, Arabic, Cantonese, Russian, Finnish, German, one you never try to learn, Khoisan language, Portuguese, Thai, Kurdish, "language without resources"...
