    Hello Elena, The word advice is indeed uncountable, so you would never say something like "He gave me advices." In addition I would say "He gave me some advice" instead of "he gave me advice."

    Hi Alexandr, That's a difficult question because the translation depends on how you use these words (context). In most cases the equivalent of these words in English are the verbs can/cannot and might: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/grammar/british-grammar/modals-and-modality/can https://dictionary.cambridge.org/grammar/british-grammar/modals-and-modality/might можно? = "Can it be?," "is it possible?" нельзя = "It cannot"

    Un naufrage Un grand navire a fait naufrage samedi dernier. Après il a heurté un iceberg, le navire a commencé à sombrer. Il n’y avait pas eu assez de canots de sauvetage pour chaque passagère. L’équipage du navire a pris des canots d’abord et ils n’ont pas dirigé les passagères. Les premiers secours ont trouvé beaucoup de noyades. Des autres sont mort d’hypothermie. Les premiers secours ont seulement pu effectuer le sauvetage de 100 passagères.
