    "set high standards" - this means that the school(s) in question will require students to perform better, and expect more from them than before. "standard of living" refers to the quality of life. This may include health, earnings and etc.

    It's possible, but not as easy as some people make it out to be. For example, in order to learn from movies/music, you already need to understand a big portion of the content (I'd say about 70%+), otherwise, you'll end up engaging in passive listening which is not effective for language learning. 

    A good way of learning through movies/music is to use subtitles/lyrics as your guide. Listening to the same thing multiple times also helps.

    "What are you doing?" is more general. It can refer to a variety of things, including work, play, relaxation and etc. "What are you working on?" implies that the person is working on something.

    Would - is conditional. That is, it is not 100% confirmed that you will proceed to do something. Will - expresses something that you are certain about. The first option is correct. The second one is not, as there is a tense disagreement ("thought" should be used in conjunction with another verb in the past tense such as "would"). In order to make the second option correct, it would have to be "I think I will..."

    1. In this case, "satisfied" simply means "fulfilled." 2. This directly connects to the preceding sentence and the definition of eternity. Hope this helps.
