Hi Tuvya, The best answer would be: "My friends suggested to me that I talk with him" Although in this sentence "me" is an indirect form, it normally takes the preposition 'to'. Simply adding 'to' before 'me' in the first sentence would also make it usable... albeit a bit clumsy. Also, in most cases, we talk 'with' somebody. In the cases where we would talk 'to' somebody, it would imply we are giving information or are providing some kind of service. Generally when we are sharing information with a third party, we 'talk with them'. Hope this helps.

Hello Grosz Dalma. Yay! Learning a new language is always exciting. Prices are extremely variable here, plus it depends on your free time. Lessons are generally by time, that is, the shortest lessons are generally around 30 minutes and start around $5. You can add as much time as you like, obviously the more you book, the cheaper the rate. At the other end of the scale, many of the better teachers charge more or are simply unavailable because they are overbooked. Once a week for about an hour would be about $30-$40 per month. But if you're really keen on learning, you'll need to invest a lot more time than one hour per week. I would imagine you would want at least 3 sessions a week if you want to have the same level of success as a school would give. If you're starting from zero, or nearly zero, you will need about 2 years to get a good level. If you're super keen and a talented learner, you could do it considerably quicker, but you will need to invest a great deal of time. Only the fastest learners do it in under 6 months. Once you reach a certain level... usually lower-intermediate, you will need to significantly increase your time in conversation. This can be less expensive if you do language exchange, or if you live in the target country and go out to meet people. Choosing a tutor or teacher is very hit or miss. The ones in highest demand are unavailable, so you're going to have to select from what's available. There is no objective system of rating tutors and teachers. They get reviews only from students, so it's not all that much help. Mostly the students are happy, but it's financially prohibitive to try out 10 or 20 teachers, just to find that only one is really adapted to you. Having said that, all the teachers will tell you they adapt to your needs. In reality, not all teachers will leverage your abilities with the same success. There's no way of knowing whether the one you pick will give you the most success. Best of luck.

Interesting, but I'm not sure I see how this helps in an interview. My opinion about how I cope with stress or whether it is a motivator or demotivator will only be a subjective assessment, therefore of marginal use to a prospective employer. Perhaps I could show insight into how I feel when I am under stress or whether stress doesn't seem to manifest while I'm currently doing the work. I don't see how a prospective employee who doesn't deal well with stress would want to admit or explain that in an interview. Seems to me it's a scenario to see if the interviewer can determine if the answer is truthful or not. Really, it's how my co-workers and superiors view my reaction to apparent stress. If they see me being equally efficient and effective while they think I'm under stress, that's a lot more useful than me saying I don't feel stress, or I don't work well under stress. On the other hand, for me stress is just dealing with the next problem that comes along. If I am not able to accomplish the task, then putting me under stress to do it faster or better is not likely to change the outcome in a positive way.
