It was drizzling today, and I’d been on edge all morning because of Mom’s health scare. She’d gone in for a checkup, and though the results ultimately came back clear, things spiraled into chaos afterward. Dad filled me in later—the doctor had discovered two polyps in her stomach during the procedure and removed them right away. After discussing with Dad, they agreed she should stay hospitalized for observation. But Mom, still groggy from anesthesia, threw a full-blown tantrum in the ward—crying, refusing to cooperate, and even getting combative. She became so worked up she was practically a danger to herself and everyone else! The poor doctor finally caved and discharged her, leaving Dad utterly speechless. We’re guessing the anesthesia messed with her head, but thankfully, she’s completely fine now—and mortified by her own behavior. For now, she’s stuck on bedrest at home for the next few days. That doctor wouldn’t take her in anyway, too risky!
