As you improve your English skills you can retake the test to determine your learning progress.
How the Test Works
The OOPT can be taken in British and American English. There are 2 parts to the test:
1. Use of English
This tests grammar and vocabulary with approximately 30 questions.
2. Listening
This tests what you hear and understand. There are approximately 15 questions.
When you take the test, each part will be averaged to give a final score out of 120 points. This final score will have a CEFR rating (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).
Getting Your Results
You can view your final score within 3 business days after the test. Your score will be sent to you and italki and can also be viewed on italki on a printer-friendly page.
You can set your privacy settings to control who can view the scores. Your CEFR rating can also be displayed as a badge on your italki profile.
