It has been directed by Gus Van Sant who is an american director and Joaquin Phoenix is acting out to John Callahan that is the lead role in the film. I really love Joaquin Phoenix's movies. He is a great actor! The film was really impressed me. It was based on a true story, I like these sorts of films. To talk about movie shortly, John is an alcoholic and he had big unfortunate accident and got paralyzed. Then he starts to create caricatures for gaining his life back. I recommended to watch it.
