AMERICAN Writing Tutor: CELTA Certified, Published in major US publications. Hello there! If you want to write like a native-English speaker, take my writing classes. I'm seeking self-motivated students - intermediate, advanced or proficient - who realize that writing English well is just as important as speaking English well. I've been writing for top American publications for years: Cosmopolitan, The Washington Post and The Boston Globe, among many others. So, when you have me as your teacher, you'll know that you're being taught by a real writer who makes a living from her writing in addition to teaching on italki. This is not a course on creative writing in English. The writing we practice here is for your English-speaking life. I'll help you write effective emails to employers, friends, teachers, among others. You'll also learn to write essays for English tests, such as the IELTS, TOEFL - and resumes and applications for jobs or school. By the way, I never use textbooks during lessons except when requested. Instead, I use "authentic material" like articles from newspapers and magazines, YouTube videos, photography and even objects you use in everyday life. So, please, get in touch!
