Akane-sensei is an amazing teacher and great conversation partner! She makes you feel at ease and provides a comfortable, supportive environment to practice speaking Japanese. Every lesson is really fun, and I always come away having learned a lot! :)

Akane sensei is very patient and extremely encouraging! Even though it was my first Japanese lesson, we were able to have a really fun and engaging conversation. She spoke clearly, used vocabulary at a level I could understand, and politely corrected my mistakes when we spoke. Looking forward to more lessons in the future!

Of course I first heard about Akane sensei through her excellent podcast and YouTube channel, but she is also an excellent teacher on italki. Conversation time goes by very quickly, and she provides good but unobtrusive corrections to grammar and vocabulary. The lessons so far have been very fun!

Akane sensei is very easy to talk to. She provides corrections without disrupting the flow of the conversation. She helped me with some difficult vocabulary and sentence structures, overall would definitely recommend lessons with her!
