Hi, guys! My name is Izumi. I'm from Kumamoto, Japan.
I love:
- Cooking...I'm a foodie and I love trying new recipes from all over the world. I'd love to learn if you have a special recipe to share with me! ;)
- Reading...I love reading both in Japanese and in English!
- Dancing...Swing dance (esp. Lindy Hop!) is my passion!
- Anime... These Covid days got me hooked into Anime! My recent favorites are Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia. Yep, I'm a newb. So, come to my lesson and educate me with your favorite anime/manga!

I studied Japanese language education and linguistics both in college and grad school, and I have been a professional Japanese teacher for 10 years+. I used to teach in Oklahoma, USA and in Monterrey, Mexico.
I have taught people from diverse backgrounds such as exchange students, businesspersons, homemakers, high school students, and college students. So, I can customize my curriculum to meet your specific needs. I can also explain confusing and complicated grammar/vocabulary well!
