Experienced Estonian tutor for all language levels. I’m on a vacation until the end of August! Apart from tutoring here, I've had language exchanges over 4 years, where I've been teaching Estonian and English while learning some other languages myself. I have also organised interactive language cafes in Tallinn, Estonia, to help foreigners improve their language skills. So, although I'm not a teacher, I have experience tutoring and supporting someone else's learning process. My goal is to encourage my students to speak and build their confidence in learning the language as Estonian is known to be one of the hardest languages in the world, which can be quite intimidating for the beginner. I'm patient, enthusiastic and open to adapting to your learning style.

Passionate Estonian polyglot helping students make sense of the Estonian language I am Eli(sabeth), born and bread Estonian with a passion for languages. I've completed TEFL level 5 course and been teaching Estonian since Sept 2025, both online and in-person courses. I also run a beginner-friendly podcast Estonian with Eli as I noticed the lack of materials available for listening. The lessons could be more traditional classroom-atmosphere and discuss grammar or do drills, or just a casual conversation to practice your Estonian, whatever you prefer. My goal is to make you a more confident speaker using varied materials for it, such as video, audio, reading and homework assignments between lessons (if preferred). For beginners, I can suggest following Settle Estonia A1/A2 book, or E nagu Eesti, if you prefer, to go through various topics in an organised way, but we can also just focus on what you want to be able to say and how you might be exposed to the language. If you have time and want to do some homework between lessons, please let me know, I'm happy to assign some and we can go over it during the lesson and discuss any queries :) I am also happy to use any of my other languages to help you learn, so let me know if you want to have the lesson in a different language than English! I also use other platforms like Jitsi or Proton Meet, so if you prefer not to use Italki classroom, send me a message!

Friendly teacher helping you speak with confidence I'm a teacher who genuinely loves sharing my languages and cultures. Over six years, I've taught 300+ students how to make English and Estonian feel less intimidating and more enjoyable, whether you're just starting out or working toward fluency. Having lived in over 10 countries, I bring real conversation and cultural context into every lesson. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me traveling with my camera or on the tennis court. Tule ja räägime, let's talk. I'm patient and friendly, and I focus on creating a space where students feel motivated and genuinely enjoy learning. Beyond the language itself, I build strong communication skills, active listening, and habits like showing up on time and prepared. Every student is different, so lessons are tailored to you. In our first class, we'll build a learning plan around your goals. My approach centers on conversation, but I'm flexible and happy to adapt based on how you learn best.

I learned Estonian too. Let's talk Hi! I'm Nikita. I was born in Tallinn, grew up bilingual in Estonian and Russian, and now I teach the language to others. I know what this road looks like from both sides. I grew up studying in a non-native environment, which forced me to learn fast and taught me what actually works — and what just wastes your time. I've been learning languages since I was 7 and now speak four: Estonian, Russian, English and Swedish. For the past two years I've taught Estonian, so I know where learners get stuck. I teach in Russian, English or Estonian — I'll explain a rule in whichever language gets it across fastest, then switch to Estonian as soon as you're ready. Estonian has a reputation for being impossible. It isn't. It's one of the most beautiful languages I know, and once the logic clicks, it stops feeling like a wall. My lessons: You speak as much as possible. I use videos, articles and discussion questions so the hour stays interesting, and I adjust the difficulty to your level. If you're a beginner, we start slow and build. If you already speak some Estonian, we work on fluency and the natural phrasing textbooks don't teach. Book a trial lesson and tell me what you want to achieve — I'll build a plan around it.

As long as I remember myself I have always been a teacher. Since I was 10 years old I was teaching Estonian language to my friends. They used to come at my place and we read books together and then I would explain them meaning of some words.
