ТОЖЕ or ТАКЖЕ? 🤯🇷🇺 They sound almost identical, and both can mean “also” in English… but there's a difference! 💗 ТОЖЕ = me too / the same thing Use it when you're talking about the same thing or doing the same action as someone else. ☕ Я хочу кофе. — I want coffee. ☕ Я тоже! — Me too! 💙 ТАКЖЕ = also / in addition Use it when you're adding new information. 📚 Я изучаю русский. Я также изучаю итальянский. → I study Russian. I also study Italian. 💡 Here's the trick: ТОЖЕ → SAME thing. ТАКЖЕ → ADD something. But here's something interesting! 👀 In many situations, BOTH words are possible. The difference is often about emphasis and style, not strict grammar. ✨ ТАКЖЕ usually sounds a little more formal, while ТОЖЕ is very common in everyday conversations. 💬 Quick quiz!
