It is hard to believe that October is almost over, yet we are still experiencing some surprisingly hot days this year. Usually, this time of the year brings a refreshing autumn breeze and cooler temperatures, but the current weather feels more like an extended summer. In fact, I am quite astonished to see many people walking around in short sleeves, even though the calendar says it is already late October. It creates a strange and confusing atmosphere when the autumn leaves are supposed to fall, but the temperature demands summer clothing. Personally, I have never been a big fan of hot weather because it makes me feel uncomfortable and sluggish. I much prefer the crisp, cool air of late autumn and the cozy feeling of winter. Because of this, I sincerely hope that the temperature drops very soon and the refreshing, cool autumn weather finally arrives to stay.

My favorite season is autumn. I hate summer and winter it is uncomfortable for me to live. There are many reasons.
First, the weather is very comfortable. It is not too hot and too cold, so I can enjoy going outside. Also, different from summer, I can wear many different kinds of clothes in autumn. I like choosing clothes for the season.
Second, I like Halloween. I enjoy seeing Halloween and products in stores.
Third Autumn also has many delicious fruits, such as persimmon grapes, and pears. I especially like eating fruits.
Fourth I love baseball, so autumn is a very exciting season for me. I can watch the postseason games. My favorite baseball team is the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. This year, my favorite team made it to the postseason. I am very happy about that. I really hope they win the championship.
For these reasons, autumn is my favorite season. I look forward to autumn every year.

Today, I am going to a ramen shop near my house with my friend. The shop opened recently, and I have wanted to go there for a long time. I am really excited to try it today. Miso ramen is famous at this shop. I like miso ramen very much, so I think I will enjoy it. I hope the ramen is delicious. I also want to see what the shop looks like inside.
After eating ramen, we are going to a coffee shop. I want to drink coffee and eat dessert there. I like desserts at coffee shops. My favorite desserts are chocolate cake and pudding. I am not sure what I will order today, but both sound good. I want to relax and talk with my friend while we enjoy our coffee and dessert. It will be a nice way to spend the evening.
Tomorrow, I have my first class at university, so I need to get up early. I do not want to be sleepy in class. I will try to go to bed early tonight. I hope I can have a fun evening and still get enough sleep.

# 🇪🇸 Does “Ya veremos” Mean Yes… or No? 🤔
Have you ever invited a Spanish friend somewhere and received the answer “Ya veremos”?
Does that mean yes? No? Maybe? 😂
In Spanish, we sometimes use expressions to avoid giving a direct answer. Here are four you'll hear quite often!
🧐 1. “Ya veremos” — We'll see
—¿Vienes a mi fiesta? (Are you coming to my party?)
—Mmm… Ya veremos.
It might mean maybe… or it might be a polite way of saying no!
😅 2. “A ver si quedamos” — We should meet up sometime
You bump into an old friend and say, “¡A ver si quedamos!”
Sounds like a plan, right? Well… don't be surprised if nobody actually arranges anything!
🤷 3. “En principio, sí” — In principle, yes
It's a yes, but with a little room for changing your mind later.
💭 4. “Me lo pienso” — I'll think about it
Sometimes it means exactly that. Other times, it's a gentle way of avoiding an immediate no.
Of course, everything depends on the context, tone of voice, and relationship between the speakers!
### 🎯 Your turn!
A Spanish friend invites you to a party, but you don't really want to go.
What would you say?
A) No, gracias. No me apetece.
B) Mmm… Ya veremos.
C) Me lo pienso y te digo algo.
D) Something else!

Hello. Today, I will talk about my week.
First, on Saturday, I stayed at my friend’s house. My friend lives in Saitama. My friend made dinner for me. We ate oyakodon. It was so delicious, and I was happy.
On Sunday, I was going to go to a phone shop to get a my new phone. But my new phone was not there yet. So, I had no plans that day.
On Monday, I went to interview for a new part-time job. I passed the interview, so I was very happy.
Yesterday and today, I played with the same friends. Yesterday, we ate monjayaki. Today, we ate malatang. Both were very delicious. I had a very good time with my friends. Tomorrow, I will go to karaoke with my friend. I want to sing a lot.
I moved to a new place recently, and I have not started my new part-time job yet. So, I want to have fun with my friends this week and next week. From November, I want to work a lot.
