How to say "Forget it." "Never mind." Don't use this in the wrong way!

안녕하세요. 
오늘은 제가 한 잘못된 선택에 대해서 이야기할 거예요. 

제가 살고 있는 곳에는 오늘 눈이 정말 많이 내렸어요. 
눈이 아주 많이 내려서 앞이 안 보일 정도였어요.

앞이 안 보일 정도로 많은 눈이 내리면 길을 걷는 것도 힘들어요. 
그런데 제가 실수로 겨울용 부츠(boots)가 아닌 운동화를 신고 나가버렸어요. 
날씨가 추우니까 옷을 따뜻하게 입어야 하는 것은 생각했는데
신발을 미처 생각하지 못했어요. 

한국어 수업을 하러 출근하는 길이 정말 미끄러웠어요.
너무 미끄러워서 넘어질 뻔한 순간들이 많았어요,

다행히 한 번도 넘어지지 않았지만, 넘어지지 않으려고 미끄러운 길을 계속 신경을 쓰면서 걸어야 했어요. 그리고 학교에 도착했을 때, 저는 이미 너무 피곤했어요. 

미끄러운 길을 30분 동안 걷는 게 은근히 사람을 피곤하게 만들더라고요. 

한국어 수업이 끝나고 다시 집에 돌아오는 퇴근 길,
저는 그 미끄러운 길을 다시 걸어와야 했어요.

발가락에 힘을 딱 주고, 안 넘어지기 위해서 진짜 노력했어요. 
그리고 다짐했어요.

아~ 이제 정말로 눈이 오면 무조건 부츠만 신어야겠다. 운동화는 절대 안 된다.

오늘같이 눈이 많이 오는 날에  운동화를 선택한 것은 정말 잘못된 선택이었어요.

다시는 이런 선택을 하지 않을 거예요.

미끄러운 길 때문에 출퇴근길이 조금 피곤하고 힘들었지만 
눈이 오는 날에 운동화를 신으면 안 된다는 소중한 교훈을 얻었습니다.
