Daily Expressions不见得bù jiàn dé
Description
This is a super common spoken Chinese phrase!
It’s soft, natural and very native.
【Examples】
1. 很贵的东西不见得好。Hěn guì de dōng xi bù jiàn dé hǎo.
Expensive things are not necessarily good.
2. 他看起来很聪明,其实不见得。Tā kàn qǐ lái hěn cōng ming, qí shí bù jiàn dé.
He looks smart, but actually not necessarily.
3. 你说明天会下雨?不见得。
Nǐ shuō míng tiān huì xià yǔ? Bù jiàn dé.
You say it will rain tomorrow? Probably not.
💡 Tip:
Use 不见得 instead of “no” → sounds more polite and natural!
