I didn't know that there were only two classifications, i. e., British and American. Given that 67 countries declare English as the official language, including this cute, little country of Canada, I have questions, queries, posers about the origins of the English language. Are we to accept the hypothesis that the entire structure of the English language originated in Britain and America.
Pardon my rant! The British English or American English thingy is a personal pet peeve!

I’d love to talk about my opinion, might be a stereotype though 😆. British magazines, social media posts are easier to understand, phrases and expressions seems like less formal than US’s. But the various accents in the UK and Ireland are a bit hard to catch.
