In Turkish, the verb “bakmak” takes the dative suffix (-e / -a).
So when you look at someone or something, you use the -e / -a ending.
bana = ben + -a (dative case)
beni = ben + -i (accusative case)
The verb “bakmak” takes -e / -a, not -i.
❌ beni bak (incorrect)
✅ bana bak (correct)
