Community TutorTips/suggestions on how you can have a successful first lesson with your tutor or teacher:
Fill out the student contact form. The more your tutor/teacher knows about you as a language learner the easier it will be for them to prepare for your lesson.
Please read a tutor/teachers profile before booking the lesson. Some tutors/teachers profiles have important information about their style of educating and lists important requirements so you know if you’re the right student for them.
Please read the lesson description for the lesson that you book. That way you know what to expect from the class.
Please be sure to arrive to your lesson on time. Please understand your tutor/teachers time is valuable and show good manners and not be late to the lesson.
Please be sure to have a working webcam or cell phone with a good camera on it for the lesson so your tutor/teacher can see and hear you clearly.
Please be sure that there is limited or no background noise. Your tutor/teacher will appreciate being able to hear the student/students and only the student/students.
