Q1:Are the following sentences correct when talking about the movie 'Slam Dunk' being shown nationwide?
・'A movie called "Slam Dunk" is playing nationwide.'
・'A movie called "Slam Dunk" is being played nationwide.'
Q2:Also, is the following sentence correct?
・'The movie was originally only playing in Tokyo.'

Yes, all those sentences are fine.

They're all grammatically correct, but the second and third would be more natural like this:
A movie called "Slam Dunk" is being shown nationwide.
When it debuted, it was only playing in Tokyo.
