Could you tell me, please, what does the "expose yourself" in this sentence mean?

Expose yourself to = Give yourself opportunities to experience (by listening, reading, watching...)

As others have correctly said, it means to gain experience through any means available. Exposure could come in the form of film/TV/written works/conversation with native speakers...

In this instance, "expose yourself" would mean to purposely find, research and read/listen to the language as much as possible. Like introduce more of it into your life. Hope that helps!

It means to put yourself in contact with the language e.g. by watching TV, reading or speaking the language.
