María is an absolute pleasure to interact with. She is very warm and friendly and adapts her speaking style beautifully to her students. My son is is also a student of María's and highly recommended her to me. He is far more advanced than I and has very advanced conversations. For me, my experience with conversational Spanish is more basic and María will speak more slowly and patiently and frequently check in to make sure I understand what's being said. I appreciate her patience and have seen myself quickly gain confidence in speaking with her.

Maria always does a fabulous job giving me a chance to talk and practice different vocabulary. She is very patient as sometimes I need to practice a word multiple times. Maria has made my Spanish journey so enjoyable, and I’m beyond grateful that I found her as a teacher.

I can’t believe I’ve already had 40 classes with her (and many more to come)! I’ve taken classes with many other tutors on here where I learned from them, but Maria is at another level with the amount of care that she has for her students. You can feel the love and passion she has in this. Looking forward to the next class as always!
